Jess: Haunted Hair
Due to my lack of a scanner, i'm having to photograph every drawing and then faff around with them a lot in Photoshop to get the contrast right. I ended up accidentally taking this shadowed photograph which I quite like, considering the mood of the doodle.

Jess: Potential Monsters
Hi everyone. I apologise for the silence on my part! Things have been a bit all over the place. I've been given a very exciting opportunity to make a possible short animated film, which has been eating up my time. As well as other things. But have faith, dear readers...monsters are being created! I'm trying to do one in Illustrator, but there is little time to sit at my desk and create something at the moment. Here is a lady monster so far...
Also, unfortunately, after about 7 years of good service, my scanner has decided to call it a day. Which is a bit poo regarding this blog, but I still have my trusty SLR! So, until I have monies to buy a new one, I shall be snapping my monsters and putting the photos on here...

Hello!
Welcome to The Monster Blog. Everyday, myself and a Mister Jason Duckmanton Esq. will attempt to draw a monster, creature, beast or general mythical (possibly whimsical) being and share them with you on this ol' blog. Pretty self-explanatory, really. It's a great way to keep us drawing, share our abilities with the interwebs and most importantly, have a bit of fun.
There's lots of plans for customising this blog, inviting guest monster makers to share their creations etc, etc... so watch this space. But for now, let's just concentrate on these wee beasties of ours. Hope you enjoy them!
